What Causes Swelling Of Femoral Lymph Node And Elevated Creatinine Level?

My son has swollen femoral lymph nodes in the groin area as well as several mass under the skin that where indicated by a sonogram. Blood work today showed elevation of both bun & creatinine. What could be possible causes for this? Should I be worried?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Enlargement of femoral lymph node and elevation of BUN and creatinine levels are two different problems and they do not seem to be related to each other.
Elevation of BUN and creatinine suggest kidney problems.
Whereas enlargement of femoral lymph node is suggestive of infection or inflammation in the lower abdominal region.
I suggest you to consult a physician for the elevated BUN and creatinine levels and clinical assessment of the enlarged lymph nodes.
