What Causes Swelling Of Leg And Water Blisters On Bandaging?

Hi, my husband had a triple bypass 7 months ago, a couple of days ago, he went to urgrnt care for leg pain, it was wrap with a ace bandage that cause swollen leg and water blisters, on the leg that they use the veins for the triple by pass, could it be related. ?

hi, if the bandage is too tight, the foot may develop swelling. blisters may be as a result of allergic reaction to bandage or adhesive, or some other reason. it may be the result of some serious underlying cause like 'deep vein thrombosis'. so u should quickly consult some surgeon near by for definitive diagnosis of underlying cause. doppler ultrasound is the investigation needed to rule out serious pathology.
