I have 3 days worth of flucloxacillin left and dont know what to do now... do i carry on taking them or do i go to a&e
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the pain and swelling could be secondary to tooth infection or gum infection around the tooth. you consult a oral physician and take radiograph to rule out any decay or infection. later you can go for either filling or removal of the respective tooth. you need to take metronidazole and penicillin which is most effective in odontogenic infection. do saline gargling. do not apply pressure over the swelling by touching it. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
