General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Armpit lumps are very common and are normally caused by a swollen lymph node or gland under the armpit. You should do an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the swelling and pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
