What Causes Swelling Under Eyelid And Neck Pain While Having Periorbital Cellulitis?
Diagnosed with preorbital cellulitis and on antiobioitic. Swelling on eye lid has gone down but now swelling under eye and down cheek is worse, lots of pressure, and pain in small nodules in neck and chin. Been on antibiotic for 2 full days. Does this mean infection is spreading. Should I go to the ER. Eye area is red but cheek, neck and chin are not and not hot. Do not have a feverswe

Regarding your symptoms of swelling at your cheek chin and neck with a reduced swollen eyelid in a case of periorbital cellulitis I am suggesting that you have developed a Myositis of the facial muscles with cervical Lymphadenopathy
In view of this please continue with your prescribed antibiotics by your physician definitely the swelling will surely be relieved
