What Causes Swelling Underneath Left Eye While Treating Narrow-angle Glaucoma And Blepharitis?
Underneath my left eye is swollen, I never had under the eye swelling before but I do have narrowed angled glaucoma and blepharitis, I started retasis on September 1st, and I am very careful and proactive with my eyes should I be concerned about this swelling.
Hi and welcome to HCM, There is no real connection between Narrow angle glaucoma and eye lid swelling. On the other hand acute blepharitis, which is a common condition can cause a swelling of the lid. Restasis is good for dry eye conditions and blepharitis. I suggest you to continue any medication you are currently using for your glaucoma as well as restasis. For the eyelid swelling you can try some topical antibiotic eye drops and eye ointment. Hot compress may also help. All the very best health to you and your family!!!
