What Causes Swollen And Feet, Legs And Ankles?

I am on Norvasc. My feet, legs and ankles swell to painful degree by late afternoons. I have think legs and ankles and my doctor says he doesn t believe that I swell like that. Wouldn t trying a different high blood pressure med be a good alternative?

Hi,

When on such type of medication you shouldn’t experience swellings of this type. This means a (maybe more specialized) doctor should re-evaluate your medication plan. Until then, don’t stop to take your medication, but see another specialist soon. I am very optimistic that you can get rid of this issue once you are on another medication plan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
