Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi you had swelling in your knee developed over one day which was aspirated and yellow colored fluid was removed , with some relief. In my opinion you have a condition called Synovitis ( Inflammation of knee joint lining) causing pain and swelling. The exact cause of synovitis will be known only after aspirate count and analysis. If cause is not confirmed more tests may be required to arrive at diagnosis.
