What Causes Swollen Bundles Of Veins On The Inside Of Arm?
Hello! My mom is 85 and in good health. However, she seems to have swollen bundles of veins on the inside of her lower arm. Occasionally you can see them swell and can see her heartbeat in these bundles. Then she says she gets a hot flush, tingling inher head and a headache. Her BP is within normal limits when this happens - generally 130/90

The sub cutaneous veins become prominent in old age due to loss of sub cutaneous fat and deposition of fibro fatty tissue in the vessels. Lumen of vessels become narrow .
