What Causes Swollen Feet After Eating Junk Food?

Today I noticed my feet are swollen, this has never happened before so I thought it was really odd. I almost always eat healthy, but the last 2 days I ve let myself go. I ate literally a ton of junk food, which is definately out of the ordinary, but I wanted to see how I would feel. Do you think my sudden unhealthy diet change has freaked my body out in some way? I m definately switching back to my normal eating habits. I m male, 19yrs, 5 11 , and 160 lbs. I don t know what else could cause this except the recent binge eating, think I m correct?

Hello,

Junk food may lead to excessive water retention in your body. I don't think that this is a permanent situation and I am quite sure that your situation is going to improve in a couple of days after switching to a healthy diet. You are too young and still in time to change things.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
