What Causes Swollen Glands In The Mouth Along With Mouth Ulcers?

I had a inner mouth sore a few days ago that only last for one day. It came about after I had two fillings on the right side of my mouth. I have two more fillings to receive on the left side of my mouth that I will have done in March. Now my glands on the left side of my mouth are swollen but do not hurt they are just bothersome. Is it from the increase of activity on this side of my mouth or do I have leukemia and need to go to the hospital? I do not have a fever or any type of pain.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the sore inside the mouth can be an apthous ulcer or a canker sore and as it subsides by lasting for a day you need not to worry about it..
You can take multivitamin tablet daily for a month..
As far as swollen glands on left side are concerned, it can be due to any deeply infected tooth as you are already scheduled for filling..
It can also be due to infection or clogging in duct of salivary gland..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now do cool compresses over swelling and take Advil..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
