What Causes Swollen Gums And Ear Infection In Toddler?

My 2yr old son wakes up crying and grinding his teeth i did notice today that his gums all over are red and swollen hes on antibiotics for an ear infection and also has a cancur sore in his mouth hes very uncomfortable what can i do to soothe him or help with his pain so he can sleep piecfully? He also just got over a feve that came with his ear infection and his last molars are coming in

Sores in the mouth can occur when children are fighting off other infections. They normally resolve on their own.

To help relieve any discomfort he may be experiencing, you can consider the use of a topical analgesic/ antiseptic agent such as chloroseptic or diflam.
In addition the use of paracetamol , once he has no history of reactions, would help to both reduce his fever and his pain.
