Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain and explanation of symptoms
swollen gums,
drooling , fever are signs of
teething and in case if it is associated with blisters on the tongue and inner cheeks can be due to a viral infection and is known as Coxscakie Virus infection causing hand foot and mouth disease..
It is accompanied with blisters in mouth hands and feet along with fever and rash..
It can also be due to to inflamed papillae that contains
taste buds due to giving hot milk or
tongue bite or bacterial infection due to taking dirty hands in mouth..
At times it can be due to blocked
salivary gland duct..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated..
n case of virus, the disease will run its course and slowly get relieved without treatment, same goes with blocked glands as well as inflamed papilla as they are also self resolving..
For reduction of fever
tylenol can be given..
You can do ice packs over the gums to reduce inflammation..
Give him clean and refrigerated teething rings to bite..
Feed him with more of cool milk and water..
Hope this information helps..
