What Causes Swollen Jaw, Weird Taste In Mouth, Pain In Chin/neck?
diagnosed fractured jaw
male 32 5'10 210 I was diagnosed with a fractured jaw about a month ago n the error only gave me ibuprofen. noenits a month later and the right side of my jaw is swollen n sometimes I get a weird taste n my mouth. plus I get a pain n my chin n neck sometimes.what should I do. I don't have any insurance n the er only gives me Tylenol.
Did you have pain? was the fracture mobile associated with tooth displacemnet? did you got wiring or splinting for that fracture?
I would suggest you to get an examination done by an Oral surgeon Get an OPG rdaiograph done for visualising the fracture. Take a course of amoxiclav and aceclofenacserratiopeptidase combination. Take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Take care! Dr Ammara!
