What Causes Swollen Lymph Node Behind Ear While Suffering From Strep Throat?

Swollen lymph node behind right ear have had for 5 months now never went down i have no symptoms of anything no cold doctor looked at it touched it but didnt saying anything about it i was diagnosed wit strep when it was there i took pills it sempt like it went down but then just got swollen again what could it be i frequently touch it am i irritating it ? I wanna see my doc again but i think they think nothing is wrong with me ?

Swollen lymph node is a normal response of body, beacuse white blood cells fight infection.

I would suggest you a complete blood count and a week treatment with Augmentin.
