What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Fatigue And Toothache?
I have had long term symptoms of swollen lymph glands, fatigue, having hot flashes, swollen cheeks and tooth pain. I just had root canal work and will get a crown. Have taken amoxicillin for a week which helped but then the symptoms returned. Have taken amoxicillin for another week but now don t feel better. A holistic chiropractor feels I have a tick disease and wants to treat me holistically. But I am totally worn out. I also have MS but my MS doctor doesn t think this is MS.
In case if there is associated tooth pain then the symptoms can be most probably due to tooth infection as it can cause swollen lymph nodes and swollen lymph nodes. So it is advisable to once consult an Oral Physician or an Oral Surgeon and get yourself checked.
There is a possibility of cellulitis or facial space infection leading to following symptoms. If Amoxicillin is not working you can take Augmentin and other antibiotics like Clindamycin for the same. Also do cool compresses over the swelling. Do warm saline gargles and antiseptic mouthwash gargles. Get a full mouth x-ray or Orthopantomogram done.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora, Dentist
