What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes And Pain In Abdomen In A Hernia Patient?

Hi I am a 61 year old female I began having pain in my abdomen I had a cat scan with dye and have a lot going on I have a hernia gallstones on my gall bladder but the thing they r concerned about are swollen lymph nodes in my abdomen my pancreas was enflamed but checked out fine I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy las year it was fine. Now they are going to do another endoscopy and biopsy of my lymph nodes

Hi,

Lymph nodes can enlarge due to many different conditions, the most common reason would be infection or inflammation in the surrounding area though there are more serious causes as well.

It is possible with the history of inflammation of the pancreas and gall stones that these are the cause but the biopsy would accurately show if there is any other possible reason.
