What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes With A History Of Hashimoto's Disease?
I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and I don't have nodules on my thyroid but I do have swollen lymph nodes in my neck. They are performing a CT today to make sure it's not the big C...fingers crossed and prayers sent to heaven. My question is-is it common to have swollen lymph nodes with Hashimoto's since it is an autoimmune issue??
yes hashimoto s disease is an autoimune disease ...and swollen lymph nodes are not commen in this disease but dont worry this lymph nodes can be a sign of infection in the area.CT can evaluate this nodes and clear up the confusion.
