What Causes Swollen Mouth With Blisters?

I ve noticed in the last few days my mouth, mainly inner area, becomes swollen when I speak. It feels as if my inner cheeks and tongue gets puffy. There are also several small cold soar type blisters in my mouth. My lips will become numb, almost giving me the feeling as if I ve left the dentist. Thankyou for your attention in this matter.

As per your complain the symptoms of swelling of inner cheeks and tongue along with numbing of the lips and blistering are pointing towards allergic reaction and it can be due to any food or medication..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get allergic tests like Patch test, RAST test, food challenge test etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
The tests will help in ruling out the exact cause of the allergen and once you know the cause of the allergic reaction you can avid exposure to it to prevent allergy attack..
You can be advised to take anti allergics like benadryl or Allegra..
He can also be instilled an Immunotherapy that will help in reducing the severity and frequency of allergic attack..
Once the allergen is ruled out avoiding exposure to it can prevent the allergy symptoms..
