What Causes Swollen Pimples On The Cheek?

I am 20. I used to have 1 or 2 pimples sometimes. But from last one month I have red swollen pimples on my left cheek only. It always occurs at the same place. My friend suggested me to use erytop gel. But as I m using it from last week. I thnk I m getting more pimples. Does it because of erytop gel? My friend asked me to use it for 1month. Should I continue its use?

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to acne.

I would recommend to wash and dry the area with antibacterial soap.

You can try to treat your pimple with over-the-counter products such as Benzoyl peroxide.

This kills acne-causing bacteria and lessens swelling of a pimple.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
