What Causes Swollen Tonsils Along With White Spots?
Hi, I have had swollen tonsils for a while now. There are purple veins and white spots with, what it looks like, ulcers. My throat isn t sore or anything. I thought it would be Tonsillitis, but it doesn t seem to be that. What would the possibilities of this be?

Swollen tonsils indicates that there is some degree of infection in your throat.
Tonsils are lymphoid organs which is meant to fight infections.
But removal of tonsils does not cause any harm.
Generally tonsils are removed as they swell up in size and block the airway passage as well as causes difficulty in swallowing.
When the infection of throat subsides, swollen tonsils decrease in size too.
You may for time being ignore about your tonsils. You can take decongestant syrup and have soothening lozanges.
In case the swelling causes above symptoms, consult ENT specialist without any delay.
