What Causes Symptoms Of Hyperglycemia And Dizziness While On Glucored?
Hello sir,I had been taking volibo.M .3 one in the morning for the past ten months. Now I have been prescribed Glucored 500. One in the morning. Now after three hours of taking Glucored it seems I experience hypoglycemia symptoms. Shivering, going tobe getting fainted feeling. I immediatetely take food as the very beginning of the symptom and it works out. Anyway my food intake has increased. Four times a day.Is it better to switch over to old tablet or continue the present one.Which one is preferable as far as the side effect is concerned? Please inform me,With regards,
Regarding side effects, there is no much difference, although glibenclamide in glucored 500 have more chance of hypoglycemia compared to voglibose.
If the hypoglycemic symptoms recur, kindly discuss with your doctor for modification of the regimen.
Also, good sugar control needs diet modification and regular exercise along with drugs. Major meals to be restricted to 3/day and include less calories and good amount of green leafy vegetables and fruits.
Energy drinks and number of snacks to be cut down. Regular exercise at least 45 minutes a day is needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
