Pediatrician 's  Response
It seems to be a case of undescended testis. The pain could be related to gubernaculum, a structure that connects the testis to the scrotum. In any case it needs clinical evaluation and management. An undescended testis could develop cancer subsequently and hence needs to be removed surgically if there seems no further chances of descent.
