What Causes Testicular Pain After Undergoing Hernia Operation?
I am three weeks post op after a by-lateral ingunial hernia repair. I have also been prescribed with Pamsvax XL 400 capsules for a prostate problem. Since the hernia repair I have been suffering with severe aching/pain in my testicles. Could the problem be due to my hernia operation or my prostate prescription?
Hi. The testicular pain is most probably due to hernia operation. The spermatic cord is handled and looks to compressed during repair, thereby causing the veins to get obliterated and the congestion thereby causing the pain. I would advise to have a ultrasonography and color doppler examination to ascertain the cause and may be to re-explore to free the spermatic cord. Another possibility is entrapment of the nerve in the stitch or so. This too can be loosened up .
