What Causes The Ear Pain Of My Daughter?
My 2 & 1/2 year old daughter has put on less than a kilo in a year, is this normal?
She also doesn't eat much & today started crying saying her ear hurt & fell asleep & was hard to wake up, she has previously complained about ear pain throughout her life but has never fallen asleep before or had an ear infection.

Ear infections are common in children. Your daughter might be having throat infection previously which is the commonest cause of ear ache in children.
I would suggest you to go for a 5 day course of antibiotics.
She would be alright by the time the course ends.
