I m having problems with my Esophagus .I get very bad pain.It feel like a lump come up.Do you think that why I have bad breath ?My Dental say it not my teeth. Doctor I hope you can give me some answers.
Hello dear Understand your concern. I think you are suffering from hiatus hernia of oesophagus which lead to development of GERD. Yes Bed breath may be due to this only. Consult the surgeon and do test like barium meal and endoscopy.
But you should try followingadvice 1. Proton pump inhibitor: rabeprazole 2. NSAIDS: Aspirin 3. Propanolol 4. If not responds: Laser surgery Phodynaemic surgery
Avoid large meal. Avoid oily, spicy and fatty food. Do not sleep after meal. Make angle of 45 degree while sleeping (Head rise position)
Hope this may help you. Best regards Dr. Sagar
