just yesterday it began, a winded feeling in my throat, its not sore, its not difficult to swallow or talk or eat - nothing at all - just feels like some wind trapped and i want to burp - don t usually drink coke but did today to see if that helped, at hiccups yesterday too. I m 41 very active mum.
Difficulty in burping or foreign body sensation in throat may be due to increased pressure at lower end of esophagus like achalasia or due to esophagitis or pharygitis or diverticulum or acid reflux etc.
So take tablet pantaprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid carbonated drinks, use syrup sucral two teaspoons thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist / gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
