What Causes Throat Irritation After Ingesting Clorox?
I am 61 years old and just accidentally ingested about 1 ounce of clorox diluted in about 1/3 cup water while trying to take my evening pills. I drank about 2 to 3 cups of water after and gurgled my mouth and throat many times. I feel my throat a little irritated, otherwise I m ok. My husband called the poison control and says no need to go to ER right now. Any suggestion?

clorox is a chemical substance.. yes yiu dont need to go to Er.. the throat irritation is due to local inflammation caused by ingesting a chemical substance.. you can take an antiinflammatory to relieve the symptoms
