What Causes Throat Irritation?
I constantly have to clear my throat. I also feel as though I have phlegm in the back of my throat, but I don t cough anything up. Years ago I was told I had esophageal reflux. At the time, I had all the symptoms. I took omeprozole for years. It stopped working .

It might be due to reflux. Or on the other hand it could be due to a sinus infection. Omeprazole is effective for reflux. However if you have pain in the sinuses or headache then you need to get checked for sinusitis
