What Causes Throbbing Headache And Dizziness While Having Epilepsy?

On Sunday I had a throbbing headache that lasted all day. Monday morning I felt like I had a hangover. Since that time I have a very mild throbbing and sometimes feel dizzy. Sometimes I don t notice any symptoms. I m 38 and about 9 months ago I suffered a massive stroke, had brain surgery and now have epilepsy. Prior to that time, I was completely healthy. No smoking, drinking or drugs. Should I report this to my neurologist or see if these symptoms go away? I can still work, drive, run, etc... but just having these nagging symptoms.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Stroke, as you would likely know, is very uncommon at your age. Because of this, it would be best to see your doctor with any unusual symptoms.

Though most headaches are due to benign causes (not dangerous), with your medical history, these would need to be ruled out.
This may just be with a thorough history and examination, imaging may not be needed if the examination findings do not point to a serious cause.

I hope this helps
