What Causes Throbbing Headache In A Diabetic While Having Urine?
Should I go to the ER? I get a throbbing headache at the time I need to passing urine (cath). I am a C6-C7 quadrapegic and a type 1 diabetic. This started last night and the headacheds are extreme and come on real fast ( 60 seconds) and last for about an hour after cathing.
Throbbing headache at a time of passing urine through catheter is very unlikely to be caused by or have association with your type 1 diabetes.
As you are suffering from severe headache, I would advice you to go for clinical examinations and investigations to find out the root cause of your headache.
Hope this helps.
