Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bad hip that I am told needs surgery. I know that groin pain is associated with hip pain. However my groin pain is a throbbing pain and isn t always when I have the pain or aching in my hip. I have had this for a long time but it is getting worse as is my hip getting worse. My concern is the type of pain you get that is associated with hip pain. It feels more muscular or a ligament.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a muscle pain. I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest gentle stretching exercises for relieve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
