What Causes Tightness And Feeling Of Something Struck In Throat?

Hi, I am a 46 year old female...I have had trouble breathing/tightness in my throat..went to urgent care and they gave me 50 mg of prednisone for a week..seemed better for a day or so, but now worse. It seems like I have stuff stuck in my throat. I use my inhaler also. Could it be caused by acid reflux or a hiatal hernia? Seems worse after I eat.

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear it may be due acute pharyngitis or due to acid reflux or due to food allergy or angioedema or allergic bronchitis or episodic astma.

If it is responded after steroid means mostly due to angioneurotic edema or asthmatic episode or allergic bronchitis. Need complete examination of your oral cavity and blood investigation.

Take tab.pantaprazole before breakfast and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
