What Causes Tightness In Sternum Area, Stomach Discomfort And Nausea?
Went to bed tonight. Never sleep well but tonight I am experiencing a tightness/achiness in the area of my sternum. Always have some stomach discomfort but am also experiencing light nausea. The symptoms seem to ease when I sit up. Have had fairly regular anxiety attacks for the past few years. Could this be another form of one of those? email address is: YYYY@YYYY

All your symptoms look like GERD (gastroesophageal reflex syndrome.
In the night after dinner while lying down acid reflex from the stomach may come up in food tube and irritating cause pain and tightness below the sternum.
Go for Endoscopy test.
