What Causes Tingling Sensation Above The Right Eye?
Good Evening. I woke up this morning and and the top part of my right eye had a tingling sensation. This has never happen to me and It was at a point that it was very nerve wrecking and there was nothing i can do. It lasted a few good minutes and when i got up to get ready, it eased up. right now its doing the same things but its not as bad as it was this morning. I look at my phone a lot and hardly rest me eyes. the only time i rest my eyes is when i get ready for bed. I do have tension in my neck and eyes and usually take meds for it. Also i have allergies so i don t know if that can be a reason as well. Is there anything i can do to stop the sensation or should i see medical attention as soon as possible.
The symptoms you have mentioned in the form of tingling sensation and redness of the eyes most probably indicate allergic conjunctivitis. I would prefer to treat conditions like this by use of anti-allergic eye drops like olopatadine and artificial tears eye drops. Along with medical treatment you need to avoid exposure to any of the known allergens like smoke, dust. The condition usually resolves by 2-3 weeks.
Hence I advise you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and prescription of drugs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
