What Causes Tingling Sensation And Itching At The Finger Tips?
For about a few week I have had tingling in three of my finger tips (Right hand) and sometimes they itch. The palm of my right hand itches all the time. I went to the doctor and they prescribed 20 mg of Prednisone, taking 1 capsule each day for 5 days. I have taken 3 pills so far and they have not helped at all. I would like to get your advise and maybe ask my doctor if I have to go back to check what you are suggesting is the problem. I am 68 years old and want to make sure this is not a serious problem. Please reply.

Possible fungal infection by dermophyte infestation. Over and above the steroid pills, I would suggest:
- Cleansing of local part with antiseptic liquid or soap
- Antihistamine as Diphenhydramine or Cetirizine
- Antifungal medicine such as Fluconazole or Itroconazole
- Local application of Itroconazole cream
