Hi,
If you observe carefully, you can see that the groove around the distal phalanx(of the great toe) of the left foot is some what reduced and the area is a bit shiny too compared to your right foot.
Along with it, those sensory losses, indicate early onset
nerve fiber damage, the most likely cause can be due to that jumping event only, along with a formation of
neuroma (possible morton's neuroma) due to may be nerve entrapment.
No, one week is not at all advisable, as it can worse even further, so you need to get yourself checked out without any further delay. There's a need to rule out
stress fracture of the toe also. There'll be a need to undergo for X-ray of the feet along with
MRI after physical evaluation by a Orthopedician.
You can simply go to your nearest ER/urgent care where you'll not only get yourself promptly examined but also will receive immediate management accordingly. This is certainly not a manageable situation at home/work, so you'll definitely get off from your work for the time being. Let me know how it goes and please don't delay any more.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
