What Causes Tingling Sensation During Cold?

Tingling
Hello, I am an 18 year old girl about 5' 1" and 115 lbs. Today I went to the doctor because of a sore throat and cold-like symptoms. I was told it was just pharyngitis and to rest and take tylenol. I was also given a one dose steroid to "speed up the wellness process". Starting a couple hours ago my nose "fell asleep" and had a tingling feeling. Soon after my legs started feeling the same. Now the tingling sensation has moved to my arms. Any ideas of what is happening or what I can do to make it stop?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Sore throat is a bacterial infection, and and tylenol alone is not the answer for that.
Probably you had the temperature rise, or there may be rise in the B.P. due to the steroid.
I advise you to consult a physician immediately, for treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, citrizine, ranitidine, and paracetamol, till the diagnosis is established.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
