What Causes Tingling Sensation In Anal Region During Bowel Movement?

about 4 years ago i developed a case of ocd that made me obsess over my personal hygiene. part of this was that i would excessively wipe myself after having a bowel movement. a lot of the time i would even go so far as to penetrating my anal cavity with toilet paper wrapped around my hand to ensure that i got myself 100 percent clean. from this point onward i experienced an uncomfortable tingling like sensation in my anal region, and started to have irregular bowel movements, meaning that i would have bowel movements where i didnt feel 100 percent relieved and/or i would have multiple bowel movements (about 5 or6) per day at very inopportune times. not to mention that my bowel movements became exceedingly lengthy at times lasting up to 3 or 4 hours. in an attempt to rectify this issue i have stopped penetrating my anal cavity whilst wiping myself after bowel movements, and the uncomfortable tingling like sensation has subsided about 80 percent but i am still having the irregular bowel movements. fortunately, the length in time that i spend in the restroom has decreased but i still experience movements where i dont feel 100 percent relieved and/or experience up 3 or 4 bowel movements per day. this is causing a huge interference in my day to day life. any advice on how to permanently rectify this issue would be greatly appreciated. ps. i still have a slight case of ocd, and to ensure that i have fully cleaned myself after using the bathroom, many times i put warm water and/or lotion on my toilet paper to aid myself in fully cleaning after my bowel movements. do you think that this in any way contributes to my issue
