What Causes Tingling Sensation In Arm Of A Diabetic?

hello, im only 20 so im not too worried, however this has happened maybe twice in the last month. i feel a weird feeling in my arm, i cant recall which exactly, but to mee it seems like it would be the artery. it felt like a slight pressure, or tingling feeling and i know its not normal. again i am 20, but i have diabetes and i am a heavy smoker, so this may be related to blood pressure, im not sure.

Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. Tingling in the arm can be due to nerve damage in arm. Since you are a diabetic, it can be related to this. I would suggest to keep your blood sugar in control and stop smoking. Smoking causes decreased blood circulation which also results in tingling sensation. Start taking a supplement which contains vitamin b12. Do consult your doctor if the problem worsens. Thanks and regards.
