What Causes Tingling Sensation In Face With Chest Pressure Post Gum Graft Surgery?

I had soft tissue transplant on all upper gums 8 days ago. Recovery going well, but tonight I have ongoing tingling on the right side of my face and some pressure in my chest. Is this caused by pain meds? I was taking one hydrocodone every 6 hours until yesterday. I did not take another one until tonight.

Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain it seems that the tingling and chest discomfort are due to side effects of the medicine that you are taking and you need to consult your treating dentist and get evaluated and he can advise you to take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl..
An evaluation will also be done to check for any cardiac related issues as it can also cause tingling sensation and chest discomfort..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
