What Causes Tingling Sensation In Fingers And Feet After Platelet Donation?

I just donated platelets at Texas blood and tissue. Right when I was done my fingers and feet started tingling. My feet have since stopped but my fingers are still doing it. What is the cause and how can I treat it? I read it may be a mild case of hypoglycemia. I checked and my sugar was 80.
