What Causes Tingling Sensation In Soles And Toes After An Injury?

I fell about 2 weeks ago, and have had a lot of discomfort, in my calves, right hip and behind my knees. Over the past 3-4 days I have had the feeling of pins and needles in my toes, bottoms of my feet. I also have marked weakness from the hips down. I have a history of type 2 diabetes, with no complications so far. My most recent HBA1C was quite high.
