What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Arm After An Electric Shock?
Hi, I just got an electric shock by touching the metal part of a power charger when it was plugged into the wall. It lasted just 2 seconds before i threw the plug. it seemed to stay in my hand. there are no visible symptoms, but now i have a slight tingling in the same arm. do i need to do something?
Hello dear! I can understand your concern. Its because of electric flow running in the arm through nerves and also because of disturbed electrolytes due to release of potassium from the cells. I would advise you to get an ECG and serum electrolytes checked because a raised potassium can affect the heart. Hope it will help. Wishing you a sound health and a speedy recovery :-)
