I get a mild twinge in my left arm pit every so often. Sometimes every 5 or 10 minutes and other times a hal hour or hour in between. Can I wait until this Friday when I have a doctors appointment? What can cause this? I did the symptom checker but I don t think it s one of those outcomes.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, multiple sclerosis or herpes zoster . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , chest x-ray along with and physical examination to check tenderness or consistency . Doctor may order antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also order mammogram . For now apply warm compresses thrice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
