my hands have been tingling and hurt. my feet tingle and ache. I haven t had my period for two months. I think I am in menopause. and I feel plain lowsy. don t have energy or don t feel like doing anything when I have a day off from work. always tired it seems.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Tingling sensation what you are experiencing feet and other symptoms could be due to menopause. It can be associated with the following: 1. Vitamin deficiency. 2. Calcium deficiency. Kindly supplement yourself regularly with multivitamin capsules containing Thiamine, Vitamin B12 and Pantothenic acid as they are essential for peripheral nerve functioning. Also, supplement with calcium by medication and consume calcium rich foods. You need to also supplement iron along with proteins adequately during this period. Gradually, you should be able to overcome the symptoms. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S. MBBS., MD.
