Hi, I m married white male ,65yo male. 5 10 , 165lbs in good health, no meds, run 3 mi per day. Today noticed some discomfort , a little swelling, tender to touch with a little pain/tingling radiating upwards at an angle towards my side from the L groin area . Terry

According to your age and description most probably it can be a hernia due to weakness in muscles of abdomen.
