What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Legs While Walking?

my husband is ok sitting but walking is hard he claims his symtoms are a tingling pin like feeling that goes down the leg resting seems to help.. he did not injure his leg or hip he also claims the pain starts at the hip.. I think i may have strain it?

Thanks for asking. I understand your concern.
The tingling pins like feel going down the led while walking can be due to-
- Vitamin B12 defeciency
- Sciatica: pressure on the sciatic nerve at sciatic notch of pelvis/ at lumber spine due to disc problem... while walking the body weight causes increased pressure on the affected nerve to cause the symptoms.
Treatment would be after MRI & confirmation of site of problem .. followed by NSAID pills, steroid injection. physiotherapy/ B12 replacement
