What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Right Arm?

My husband, age 85, suddenly had a strange feeling in his right arm. He says his hand is tingling and he cannot control his right arm. He can t use his fingers, nor can he lift his right arm easily. There is some numbness along with tingling. He had the right shoulder replaced a year and a half ago, and has not had symptoms like this before.

These are possible symptoms of compressive neuropathy which is caused by nerve compression in neck or arm area. you need to do EMG and mri scan to rule this out.
