Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Right Shoulder And Neck?
I am experiencing occasional tingling in my right shoulder and side of neck. Prior to this, I had slight to moderate pain in my right neck and was with arthritis in my neck. I did 8 weeks of PT and t he pain went away, then a couple of months later (after giving my 5 yr old granddaughter a piggy back ride) I started experiencing this tingling. No pain, and only intermittent tingling- usually associated with a particular position of my right arm. What is the best way to proceed? It often takes 6-8 weeks to see my PC Doc for a non-emergency like this.
dear The pain as we see has again come back with postural exertion. This can easilybe treated with certain back and neck exercises. moreover plz give rest to both the shoulder & nexk.Do not use pilliw for some time and a bit harder mattress in bed is better. we can start with some topical analgesic gell and spreys with a infrared therapy. please learn the neck exersices in your next session with your PT.
hope this helps welcome for further queries
